AtikTeam Meet, multiple rooms and project workspaces

A few days ago, we introduced our new secure web conferencing solution, designed to let you keep in touch with your teams at any time.

We mentioned one limitation: only one room was offered to each company. We have worked hard to extend our capabilities and add support for multiple rooms.

This new functionality fits seamlessly into your project workspaces, which is why it automatically provides conference rooms dedicated to each of your teams. Indeed, only the members of a project team will find the secure access link to the dedicated room.

To enable the functionality in a project workspace, the project manager must activate the "Meet" module in the project settings (green tab).

Activating this module adds a new tab to your project toolbox: Meet (yellow frame).

At any time, a click on this tab takes you straight to your project's conference room.

Access link and security

As with the company web conferencing room, you can invite into your room a collaborator who does not have an AtikTeam account, or who is not a member of the project, by providing the access link.

This access link is automatically generated. For security reasons, the access link to a project's conference room is ephemeral, it is regularly renewed.

AtikTeam Meet is based on secure technologies. Audio and video streams are automatically encrypted between your devices and our servers.

Mobile app

The same access rules apply on mobile devices. See the presentation page of the AtikTeam Meet web conferencing solution.

How the module works

This functionality of multiple rooms integrated into project workspaces is called "Meet +". It is an optional module that you can add to your application. To support you throughout the lockdown in France, we are offering you free access to this module.
